Waterwize Gardens works with a wide variety of customers, from private to commercial, and from real estate agents to body corporates, resulting in a broad range of experience, ideas and knowledge.


Waterwize Gardens is an owner-operated business and is known for its reliability, attention to detail and quality of work.


Services and capabilities include:

  • Lawn maintenance - from domestic backyards to large sub-divisions and luxury holiday resorts – including mowing, fertilising, top-dressing and de-thatching

  • Weed management with ongoing maintenance and control programs

  • Garden design and installation including planting and advice on choosing the most appropriate plants, shrubs and trees for the specific environment

  • Pruning, cutting and hedge trimming

  • Garden makeovers and cut-backs including brush cutting and removing all garden waste

  • Mulching, including on-site wood chipping if desired

  • Irrigation and advice on water usage

  • Ongoing garden maintenance including edging, blowing etc

  • Pressure washing


Current maintenance contracts include:

  • Mountain Breeze Estate, Cannonvale – one of the largest sub-divisions in the Whitsundays

  • Airlie Retreat, Jubilee Pocket – house & land subdivision

  • Peppers Coral Coast Resort, Airlie Beach (also assisted with garden installation)

  • Seachange Apartments, Airlie Beach (grounds and garden maintenance)

  • Fantasea Adventure Cruises head office, Jubilee Pocket (ongoing garden maintenance)

  • Laguna Quays Resort (holiday relief cover for past three years)


Waterwize Gardens:

  • Holds the Australian Chemical Distribution Certificate (ACDC G21713/09), which is the Australian commercial spraying licence permitting spraying of chemicals on commercial premises and means Waterwize Gardens is qualified to design effective weed management programs.

  • Is a member of Landscape Queensland (www.landscapequeensland.com.au) which is considered to be Queensland’s most professional landscape body and is an excellent way for Waterwize Gardens to stay in touch with the latest information and research.

  • Replaces all machinery within a two-year period. This ensures optimal performance of equipment and better quality of service for the customer.
